Entourage (2016)

“I don’t like them. They just criticize to criticize. I don’t think critics have the right when they’ve never made a movie themselves.”

  • Cho Jin-woong as Kim Eun-gab
  • Seo Kang-joon as Cha Young-bin
  • Lee Kwang-soo as Cha Joon
  • Park Jung-min as Lee Ho-jin
  • Lee Dong-hwi as Geo-book (Turtle)
  • Genre : Black comedy / Comedy-drama
  • No. of Episodes : 16
  • It is a black comedy-drama about life in the entertainment industry, based on the American television series of the same name.
  • It started airing on cable network tvN from November 4, 2016, and finished airing on December 24, 2016.
  • The series scored low ratings in South Korea; some have argued that the low ratings were a result of the series being a typical of Korean dramas, particularly its black humour and perhaps American vibe.

  • The drama is a light comedy about the entertainment industry and everything revolves around that.
  • It has none of the usual tropes, love triangles, crazy second leads, misunderstandings, scheming, melodrama and etc.
  • This drama is more about bromance than romance, and I must admit it’s pretty cool. I enjoyed seeing the relationships between the four friends.
  • I absolutely love the bromance! I’m so envious of their friendship. Where to find besties like them?
  • Seo kang Joon as the main lead is really worth watching.
  • The show is a little bit slow but it’s not bad; it’s just different.
  • If you want to watch something different, and have an interest in the Korean acting industry, then do try it.

My Rating – 7.5/10
