- Synopsis: After the final shoot of a drama series, it is normally difficult for the crew to gather again as they all have their own busy schedules. However, drama director Kim Seong Yun calls upon the cast of the titles he directed and decides to shoot a variety show. The actors of Love in the Moonlight, Itaewon Class, and The Sound of Magic have gathered. While they take a trip down memory lane of the drama they took part in the past, they also meet up with other actors of other titles. Fifteen young actors and actresses enjoy their retreat with good food and fun games. Not only do they enjoy looking back at old memories, but they also make new ones with new friends. (Source: Viu)
K-show Feels:
Where else are you going to be able to watch a show with so many amazing actors and actresses all in one? Yung parang napakaimposible na mangyari na mapagsama-sama sa isang show yung mga actors and actresses ng tatlong magkakaibang kdrama. K-drama fans should be grateful sa nakaisip ng ideyang ito at nagkaroon tayo ng nakakaaliw na show.
Usually, nanunuod lang ako ng variety show kapag favorite ko yung isa sa mga cast members. At dito sa Young Actors’ Retreat hindi lang isa kundi napakadami kong gusto. First k-drama ko ang Love in the Moonlight kaya special sa akin ang mga bida nito. One of my favorite drama ang Itaewon Class during pandemic. Di ko pa napapanuod ang The Sound of Magic pero fan ako ni Ji Chang Wook and Hwang In Youp. So, sila ang reason kaya di ko pwedeng palagpasin ang show na ito.
Andami kong tawa sa palabas na ito. Every episode is either funny, interesting or purely entertaining. It’s entertaining to watch the actors being themselves and away from acting. From the genuine reaction and them getting along with each other. Favorite ko si Hwang In Youp, napaka-funny, cute and charming niya. He’s perfect for variety shows. Yung flying chair naman yung pinakapaborito kong episode. Super laughtrip!
Overall, wala akong complaints sa programang ito, except na sana mas madaming episodes at mas mahabang oras, nakakabitin kasi. This is one show that is definitely not to be missed! Hoping for season 2!
